Fitout Construction
We employ an outstanding commercial fitout and refurbishment team for complex and demanding projects, from full office fitouts to base building refurbishments. We offer exceptional value for money at $1000-$2000/sqm for office fitouts ranging from 300sqm – 10,000sqm.
Interior Design & Workplace Strategy
CoDesign + Sheldon provides innovative workplace design solutions that incorporate sustainable materials and processes. Our designers are experienced in integrating cultural artefacts and art into workspaces. The design team’s expertise includes future ways of working for hybrid workplaces and integrated technologies. In additional, technical, acoustic and SCEC requirements are facilitated in the design process.

Sheldon pioneered the workplace Design and Construct model. CoDesign + Sheldon now seeks to innovate the workplace fitout journey to consider its impact on Country and how Indigenous values can be considered in the process.

Indigenous Opportunities
Our approach involves offering new opportunities for Indigenous people to participate in the economy, while at the same time supporting initiatives for deeper cultural immersion.
Initiatives include:
Indigenous artefact, tools and artwork creation for projects.
Providing Indigenous employment opportunities through Sheldon’s internal trades, and opportunities where employees can work on their own Country.
Transferring technical construction skills and techniques to Indigenous employees.
Facilitating an empowering journey of mentoring Indigenous and non-Indigenous people to give a voice to Country.
Environment
Traditional office fitouts unfortunately damage Country and contribute to landfill. We are changing our design and construct approach to reduce environmental impacts and encourage a regenerative approach.
We recognise Indigenous knowledge and practices that cares for the land, and encourage environmental initiatives in our clients’ projects by providing solutions that limit environmental impact. Initiatives include:
Sustainable design and materials,
Electric truck used for deliveries of joinery,
Environmentally responsible workplace operations (paperless working, renewable/reduced energy consumption),
Sustainable electrical, appliance and lighting solutions,
Diverting waste from landfill and prioritising reuse of materials,
Donating profits to programs such as Back to Country and Yambulla that regenerate Country.
Delivering with zero carbon emissions
Going electric is an important step in our commitment to sustainable operations and caring for Country.
Our first electric truck joined our fleet of vehicles, and will reduce the carbon emission output of CoDesign + Sheldon’s deliveries to zero. It’s an exciting step in our dedication to reducing our impact on the environment.
